ABOUT
What began as a professional educator and mom seeking the best educational environment for her children evolved over a decade to become The Urban Cottage. We believe that every child should have an education that is individually tailored to their strengths, challenges, and learning styles. We believe that kids can love learning and that by having ownership over their education we can give them the best opportunity to grow into lifelong learners.
At the Urban Cottage, we design individualized educational programs to meet a wide variety of children's educational needs whether they are from homeschool or traditional school backgrounds. Our instructors are all certified teachers or experts in their fields, and they all share our desire to see kids reach the peak of their potential while growing to love learning.

AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING
In these three-hour sessions, homeschool students receive individualized, small-group instruction in math, language arts, history, geography and science. With a maximum 5-1 ratio, parents can be sure that their child is getting the attention they need to succeed.
Educating your children is hard, and we are here to help. Families enrolled in our Core Sessions enjoy monthly meetings in which our Director goes over their student's progress, needs, and helps to guide them through ways they can help their child succeed at home.
Many students enrolled in traditional school environments need some extra help to reach their maximum potential. The Urban Cottage offers both individual and small group tutoring designed to do just that.
At The Urban Cottage, we know parents want their kids to enjoy their summer, but they also want them to continue learning. With this is mind we have put together a summer full of creative and fun summer camps that keep kids learning all summer long.
